Hi, I’m Allison.

I like one-on-one conversations and small social gatherings.  Reading with a cup of tea, research & libraries.  I have weird pockets of information that I like to share.  A fondness for flightless birds (my favorite is the kakapo), organizational systems, & my blender.

I am passionate about feminism, psychology & feeling the sand in-between my toes.  I want to be a girl detective.  I’m a transplanted Californian.  You can still catch me wearing sandals whenever I can get away with it.

Create Positive Spin is where I document how I create positive spin in my life.  It might be a few minutes of hooping or writing in my journal.  Sometimes it is sitting listening to bluegrass with a cup of tea.  It’s not always easy, but it is always worth it.
